About the Owner

Loan’s food career started during COVID, when she hosted a series of vegan banh mi popups out of her kitchen in West Philly . She craved the childhood dishes she was nostalgic for since transitioning to a plant-based diet. She’s enjoyed learning more about her cultural identity, using food as a form of self-exploration. She draws on her experience as a traveler and working at a grocery store, restaurants and volunteering at farms. She now coaches one and one and groups on preventative health and wellness, leads cooking classes for all ages, and collaborates with partners on original and fun programming. You can follow moments with her @Save_the_lastbite

She was previously a pop-up chef at FDR Park’s Southeast Asian Market and Esperanza Health Center in Philadelphia, PA.
